Today, Nation Coating Systems is best known for specialized projects within the world power generation industry, specifically thermal spray coatings application for land-based gas turbines. We apply abradable, positive-sealing and other performance coatings to turbine blades, main shafts, support diffusers, adaptors and other critical components.
Nation Coating Systems also specializes in part restoration for gear boxes, bearings, shafts and other industrial components. Of particular note are gear boxes for steel mills and other heavy-service applications, which are restored by NCS technicians to their original dimensions, saving the high costs of new housings.
